Lauren Politylo

Senior Architect, Registered Architect (QLD)

Lauren is a registered architect with experience in the design and delivery of high quality public and community centric spaces. Since joining the studio she has worked across a variety of scales with a focus on urban design, infrastructure, institutional and community architecture. She contributed to awarded projects including The University of Queensland’s Gatton Campus Heart. She believes the role of the architect is to advocate for vibrant and lively public spaces that put people at the heart of the design.

She has experience working on significant urban precincts to communicate good urban design outcomes, influence development policy, and deliver strategic masterplans. Her role includes stakeholder engagement, consultant coordination and collaboration, community engagement and research.

Lauren graduated from a Masters of Architecture at Queensland University of Technology in 2020. As part of her undergraduate degree, she studied abroad at the Politecnico di Torino, Italy with a focus on urban precinct regeneration, masterplanning and adaptive reuse in architecture.
