Lauren recently completed her Bachelor of Design (Architectural Studies) with Honours at the Queensland University of Technology. As part of her Bachelor, Lauren studied abroad at Politecnico di Torino in Italy.
After her time living abroad, Lauren has developed an interest in exploring the cities as a diverse fabric of experiences intertwined into the built form. Drawing out some of the many ways cities are sensed, felt, experienced, lived in and travelled through.
Lauren recently was published in QUT's Landscape Design Zine, her project 'Jardin el Centro' explored how our urban environment, both built and unbuilt, plays a crucial role in our experience, memories and identity, catalysed by the anti-archetypal garden.
