Delivering urban water management projects with a positive emotional impact on the community is always a focus for Lat27. Recently, Andrew Neighbour spoke at the Explore It Live event run by the team at Healthy Waterways. The session passionately discussed how the seemingly eclectic practices of Water Sensitive Urban Design, Nature Play and Adult Health and Fitness all have an important role to play in our public realm. The human connection to our natural surroundings is a deep, underlying visceral need and the panel discussed how they are designing to positively influence a more physical and emotional connectedness with the natural landscape.
