Landscape Architect

Due to a strong backlog of projects, we are currently interviewing applicants for the role of Landscape Architect, for an initial 6-month period with potential for a long-term role, dependent on the candidate and market conditions.

Due to a strong backlog of projects, we are currently interviewing applicants for the role of Landscape Architect, for an initial 6-month period with potential for a long-term role, dependent on the candidate and market conditions.

The role includes the core required skills in the field of landscape architecture. Applicants with advanced Sketch Up skills would also be considered favorably.

We work closely with our clients; therefore, the person requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate is required to liaise with clients and the studio team to ensure the highest levels of service are achieved.

The Landscape Architect primarily assists with the development of design, documentation and presentation documents. The Landscape Architect will also have:

  • Qualifications in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field, with postgraduate qualifications an advantage
  • Advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, AutoCAD and / or Revit, and Sketch Up / 3D modelling software
  • High level design and visual communication skills
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience in project delivery from concept design through design development and production of documentation, as well as experience and knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards and an informed understanding of current trends and best practice
  • The ability to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines and manage project involvement under the guidance of the Directors / Project Managers within budgets and time parameters
  • The ability to critically review their own work to achieve exceptional outcomes
  • Good communication skills.
