The planting design for the Calile Hotel builds on the James Street precinct’s distinctive style and character. Working collaboratively with the architects Richards & Spence, pockets of plants were integrated at every level of the building, its façade and roof tops to provide opportunities for plants to climb and cascade; creating texture and interest from every viewpoint. The carefully curated planting palette adds richness to the architecture and is ever evolving.
