These former rail yards are impressively located adjacent the Hobart City Centre, Sullivans Cove and a working port that is home to cruise terminal facilities as well as Antarctic research facilities and vessels.

As a component of the AECgroup’s overarching urban economic study for the Tasmanian State Government, Lat27 were invited to partner in facilitating a workshop to identify key issues and opportunities for the Wharf’s future development.

Key themes and responses addressing medium to long term timeframes were identified for the precinct's future structure, land use, access, pedestrian and cycle movement and visual context.
