Award2016 Stormwater Queensland Award for Excellence - Winner for Excellence in Asset Management (Logan City Council and E2Designlab in collaboration with Lat27) • 2016 Stormwater Australia National Award of Excellence (Highly Commended) for Asset Management (Logan City Council and E2Designlab in collaboration with Lat27)

Lat27 and E2Designlab completed this award winning study for Logan City Council, providing an asset management framework for the City’s diverse portfolio of water bodies.

The wetlands and water bodies of Logan City are an important component of the cityscape and they are highly valued by the community. When well managed, these natural assets can provide a variety of benefits contributing to the liveability and identity of Logan's communities.

After detailed site investigations and research, it was clear that a one fit solution was not going be effective.  The resulting framework creates a series of benchmark levels of service and asset class types that will empower Council in making effective decisions to manage and prioritise maintenance efforts. The completed study now influences design considerations for new water bodies which will assist Logan in development assessment and future park planning.

The project won the 2016 Stormwater Queensland's award for Excellence in Asset Management.

The project also recieved a highly commended for Excellence in Asset Management at the 2016 Stormwater National Awards.
