Lat27 partnered with RMA Engineers, Redleaf Environmental and Toowoomba Regional Council to develop an open space concept master plan for Council's demonstration open space project at a new housing estate located in Glenvale. The parkland is a 50 hectare tract of creek related linear corridor located four kilometres to the west of the Toowoomba CBD.

The strategic vision for this pilot project was to deliver a best practice exemplar of integrated, multi-functional linear parkland that may also be used as a precedent for future similar residential developments throughout Toowoomba.

The process focused on the provision and efficient delivery of parkland and integrated stormwater infrastructure, waterway health, flood mitigation, environmental rehabilitation and the wider needs of the future community in terms of recreational amenity and connectivity.
