A thoughtful approach to planning and design was essential to guide the upgrade of facilities, maximise of future burial space and improvement of amenity values for each of these cemeteries within the Moreton Bay region. 

Master plans prepared for each of the cemeteries established a 5-10 year redevelopment program, provided strategic guidance for future use and identified community infrastructure to extend each cemetery’s life.

Consultation with MBRC internal stakeholders was critical to achieving a successful outcome for these projects.
