Tom Roberts

Associate Director, Registered Landscape Architect

Tom has worked on a variety of project typologies, including integrated transport projects, large-scale mixed-use developments, tourism masterplans, and major civic projects.

His design approach is rigorous and research-driven. He seeks to understand the unique qualities of each landscape project including its communities, ecosystems, and climates. Tom takes satisfaction in developing innovative technical solutions to complex design problems and seeks out opportunities to collaborate with other design disciplines, specialists, and thinkers throughout the design process. He has the skills necessary to negotiate project outcomes with complex stakeholder groups and understand the importance of advocacy and interdisciplinary collaboration in achieving project aspirations.

Tom is committed to supporting the sustainable development of our cities, communities, and landscapes. He is passionate about ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities are meaningfully engaged in the design and delivery of Australian landscape projects. He recognises the profound connection these communities have to Country and the invaluable insights that their unique cultural knowledge can bring.
